SR Advising Campus Tour

In late October, 2024, Stefanie Rosenzweig from SR Advising, toured University of Connecticut’s Stamford campus. It was awesome to learn about the amount of classes and degree options students can access within this urban campus. All classes are held in one large building, but the campus expands to other buildings that provide food and housing options. Many students remain all 4 years, while some majors offer the opportunity, or require students to move onto the more traditional Storrs, CT campus.

UConn Stamford is a great option for a traditional student not looking for the traditional campus. You can join clubs, have small-sized classes, and earn multiple degrees similar to on a campus with rolling, green hills. However, the Stamford campus is housed in one main building, does not have a meal plan, but provides free public transportation all throughout Connecticut (perfect for commuters and internships). The student body at UConn Stamford is very diverse. One popular way to engage with the Spanish and Latin students is through La Comunidad Intelectual. It is a new addition on the Stamford campus, after being popular on the Storrs campus.
